The Christ the Redeemer Parish website came about as a way of providing a benefit to parishioners and the community. 

It is also a way of catering to those that are not able to attend mass at specified times due to circumstances beyond their control.

Christ the redeemer parish has been in existence for close to 50 years. It was established in 1977 to cater to the growing community of Makeni. Christ the redeemer parish is a place of growth in the Christian faith, a place of warmth, a place of private prayer and intercession, a place for lighting candles and passing the time of day with saints, a place of companionship with the Lord, a place to celebrate, a place to be renewed, a place to be united with God.
